How-to: Review a Brief Before Your Host Runs It

The white paper says returned prompts can be inspected, edited or applied directly. Here is a simple review habit for the first two, so the third is a choice rather than a reflex. Why the brief is data: the anchor post.

1. Re-read your goal first. The goal seeds the matrix. Hold the brief up against what you actually asked for.

2. Scan the shape. Does the brief's structure fit the deliverable you need, or a different one?

3. Check the constraints. Are your hard limits from the extra context reflected in it?

4. Look for drift. Flag anything outside your scope. The brief is data, so you can remove it.

5. Edit lightly. Fix small gaps by hand. If the gaps are large, adjust the goal or the lean and collapse again instead.

6. Apply it. Hand the reviewed brief to your host and let the host write the work.

7. Keep or discard. If it did not help, say so and move on. You own the call.

Soft door: collapse one goal, review it with these steps, then apply it. Start at Members.
