How-to: Run Edge and Cloud on the Same Goal

Reading about the two modes is one thing. Seeing them on your own goal settles it faster. Background on both: the anchor post.

1. Pick a goal where one angle might not be honest.

2. Write the goal and extra context once. Keep them identical across both runs.

3. Run Edge. A single Binary Probability Matrix evolves and collapses. Save the brief.

4. Run Cloud. Multiple independent cubits evolve with slight parameter diversity, and the system returns the global champion. Save that brief too.

5. Compare them side by side. Which one covers the trade-offs better? Which needs less repair before your host can use it?

6. Weigh the cost. Cloud's cost scales with cubits and adds some latency. Ask whether the difference earned it.

7. Write down a rule for this kind of goal: Edge by default, or Cloud when it pays.

The strongest case for stopping at Edge: the guide calls it best for rapid iteration on a known good setting. The strongest case for Cloud: a higher ceiling through multiple evolutions. Your comparison decides which applies to your work.

Soft door: run the pair on one real goal. Start from Members.
